Laurent Briand

Laurent Briand, son of Michel Briand and Guillemette Bouesnel, was born (and baptized) 1 October 1588, St. Marc, Brittany, France. He died there 24th of September 1672. He married (before 1621, at St. Marc) Helene Charlton (born bef 1609, St. Marc - died 29 March 1659, St. Marc).

He was a lawyer (notary and prosecutor) in 1621.

Laurent was Sieur (in English: 'of the Fashionable country inn') - Master Laurent BRIAND, sior of Lhostellerie, Subject of rider Pierre GIRAULT, sior of Charmoys, Viscount of Beslière, for the stronghold of the Lyonese, 6/12/1678.

They were the parents of Julien Briand (1629 - aft 1676)
