Julien Briand
Julien Briand, Sieur de Chesnaye - son of Laurent Briand and Helen Charlton, was born 30 June 1629 at St. Marc, Brittany, France. He died there after 1676.
He married (1) at St. Coulomb, 5 November 1658, Jeanne Billecocq (born St. Marc 27 September 1641 - died there, 18 July 1662). She was the daughter of Francois Billecog, sior of Begaudie.
Sieur de Chesnaye; The 2nd day of March 1658, I Julien BRIAND and Dlle Jeanne Jeanne BILLECOQ, girl of noble man Missire François BILLECOQ, sior of Bégaudiè currently widowed of Dlle Perrine BOULLAIN ° 27/09/1641 entrepromirent the foy and the marriage in the father of future,… vice-chancellor of Saint-Coulomb engaged the 22/04/1642; on November 5 of the same yr; married in church of St Coulomb. Julien, of these three marriages had 13 children of 1659 to 1682.
They were the parents of Laurent Briand (1659 - 1724).
Julien married (2) Jacquette Latch (17 July 1663, St. Marc, Brittany) and had issue: Josselin, Pierre and Jacquette.
Julien married (3) Gillone Breal (7 January 1676, St. Marc, Brittany) and had issue: Pierre, Francois Julien, Pierre Henri, Laurence Rose, Jeanne
