John' s name can be found in the 1928 Cummins Atlas Rural Directory Finding Aid, for Prince Edward Island. He resided on Lot 39 and his occupation was given as 'road master.' His wife, Clara Cunningham is listed as well as children: Tom, Margaret, Helen, Marion and Joseph.

John Kenny was born in 1879. Clara (Susan Clare) Cunningham, his wife, was born in 1885. The children are listed elsewhere as Thomas, Margerite, Helen, Joseph and Marie. This same listing at MyTree.com says that Joseph's wife is Ruth Trainer.

John Kenny was the son of Thomas Kenny and Ellen (Walsh) Kenny (b. 17 July, 1879).

Both brothers - William James Kenny (husband of Bridget, nee Walsh) and Thomas Kenny (husband of Ellen, nee Walsh) were sons of James Kenny, of Co. Tipperary, Ireland - and his wife Ann Whalen (or Ehilen, or Whelan - as it sometimes appears).

In addition, in following either of the two above lines - there are maternal line 'Walsh' daughters and family members, several generations back.
