Abraham King
Abraham King was born 7 January, 1787, in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. He was the son of George King and Sarah (nee Hall). He married Sarah Lawman in Essendon, Herts, on 17 July, 1814. He was a labourer and she was a laundress.
Their children - all born in Essendon - were:
1. William King - christened 16 June, 1812
2. Mary Ann King - christened 16 October, 1814; child by William Webb in 1834; married William Frost - 1848, Essendon.
3. Fanney King - christened 13 June, 1819 (Fanny King is listed as 20 in the 1941 Census, Essendon), living at 'Church House' with her sister Mary Ann (and her son, William), in the home of her mother, Sarah.
