Hannah White

Sarah Hannah White was born in New Hampshire in 1772. She was the daughter of Joseph White (1734 - 1823) and Sarah Noyes (b 1735). She married David Kilbourn (1767 - 1847). Hannah died at Brockville, Leeds Co., Ontario, Canada.

Children:

1. Whiting Kilbourn, b. Leeds Co., Canada W; settled in Gore Dist., above L. ON in 1816. He m. Polly Wood; children - Jared, Laura, Hannah, Jane, David and one or two others.

2. William Kilbourn, b. Leeds Co., CW. Settled in Scriba, Oswego Co., NY and d. there in 1847. He m. Eliza Lester and had seven children: Lester, Eliza Ann, Julia, Jane, Franklin Bricea, George. His second wife was Margaret Wickware.

3. Col. John Kilbourne, b. Elizabethtown, Leeds Co., June 1794; m. Elizabeth Baldwin, of LItchfield, Conn. in 1818, and has 8 children: Horace, Collins, Henry, Roderick, Mary, George, Edmund and William Price. At the commencement of the war betwen the US and Great Britain in 1812, he was a clerk in a dry goods store in Brockville, and was 17 yrs of age. He at once enlisted as a a private . . .

4. Polly Kilbourne, b. in Leeds Co., Canada West, m. Wm Henry Eastman, native of Connecticut. They are both dead.

5. Pamela Kilbourne, b. in Leeds Co., C.W., m. Amos Coolidge, and removed to Wellsboro', 'Tioga Co., Penn., where she died, leaving a large family. Her son, Amos Coolidge, m. Mary Kilbron daughter of the late David Kilborn, Esq., of Hector, Potter Co., Penn., and now resides in Delamar, Tioga., Penn.

7. Abigail, b. in Leeds Co., C.W., m. Truman Hurd, Esq., of Kempville, C.W. Their childre nare - 1. Henry, Bailiff of the Division Courts. 2. Edwin, formerly a merchant at Newborough, Leeds Co.; now in the US., 3. Alpheus, a lawyer; 4. Elizabeth. 5. Augustus. 6. Kilborn, studied law, but resides on the homestead in Kempville. Truman Hurd, Esq. d. in 1854.

8. Betsey, b. in Leeds Co, C.W., m. John Stone, of Scriba, Oswego Co., NY, where she still resides. She has a large family.

9. Catharine, b. in Leeds Co.; m. Hial Hurd, and lives in Elmsley, nr the Rideau Canal. She has several children.

10. Bricea, b. in Leeds Co., m. John Clothier, and settled on the Rideau canal. She has a large family.
