Boyd Withers

Boyd Withers was born 13 July, 1902 in Ballyhay, Donaghadee, Co. Down, Northern Ireland, the son of Hugh Boyd Withers (1864 - 1847, Co. Down, Northern Ireland) and Margaret McDowell (1875, Northern Ireland - 1955).

Boyd married 1. Florence Nightingale Neill on 12 September, 1929, in Toronto, ON. Florence was born 17 June 1905, Belfast, Northern Ireland and died 21 June 1948, Hamilton, ON, Canada. Boyd and Florence had a son, Hugh Neill Withers, born 9 April 1931 Toronto, ON (died 10 May, 1986 Vancouver, BC).

Boyd married 2. Marjorie Elizabeth Barber, on 13th of January, 1948, Burlington, ON. They did not have children. Marjorie is the daughter of Gordon Barber and Alice Annie Green.
