George Willoughby

George Willoughby (parents unknown) was born ca 1760, likely in Wicklow, Ireland. He died ca 1800, as a Will for a George Willoughby was probated in 1800, in Wicklow County records. Compensation for damages were also sought, from the Rebellion. Records indicate that he was a 'publican' at Kilaveney, Co. Wicklow. Clothes, spirits, etc., that had been lost, were claimed.

George's wife was Mary Unknown who had the lease of land in Killavaney, Tinahely, Co. Wicklow for many years. The land was part of the Coolattin Estate under the ownership of the FitzWilliams.
